Christina graduated 1985 with her B.S. in Chemistry and worked for a local Pharmaceutical company for 33 years before retiring in 10/2018. In 2006, Christina completed her Master of Arts in Family and Marriage Counseling.
Since graduation, she has achieved the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification from the State of Texas, and has continued her education: Suicide Assessment, Child Play Therapy, LPC-Intern Supervisor Institute training. Christina earned her Texas LPS Associate Supervisor credential in 2015. She offers a well rounded set of skills to help you in your present challenge and to help equip you to manage potential future challenges.
She works to help her clients heal from past trauma, anxiety, and depression. And she works to help her clients to manage the challenges that life brings their way.
Christina has completed the requirements for Registered Play Therapist (02/2021) (RPT issued by the Association for Play Therapy) and Play Therapy is offered for children.
Most Recently she has completed training / certification (2024) for EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which has been shown evidence based, e.g., for traumatic experiences, PTSD, etc.

She has been married to her husband, Wesley, since May 1981. Christina opened Dynamic Hope Counseling Services opened in 02/2015.
Lola and Tasha:
Lola and Tasha are Shih Tzu bread dogs who love to welcome people to the office and help them feel better.
The are often in the office when Christina is working with clients.
